Rosneft Sells a Number of Filling Stations in Six Regions in Compliance with an Order by Federal Antimonopoly Service

Rosneft effects a sale of a number of filling stations in compliance with an order by Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation on necessity to cut its market share at oil products retail markets in the regions of the Russian Federation, where the Company’s market share exceeded 50% after acquisition of TNK-BP assets.

The sale is carried out through the market mechanism, auction by bidding. Reserved prices have been set following an independent evaluation. All together, there are 101 filling stations offered for bidding in six regions, including the Tambov Region, the Saratov Region, the Samara Region, the Oryol Region, the Smolensk Region, and the Kostroma Region.

Rosneft conducts its operation in a strict accordance with current legislation of the Russian Federation. The Company also takes measures for efficiency improvement in the region of sales and maintenance of stable supply of oil products to the markets of presence regions.

Rosneft retail business covers 56 regions of Russia. The Company also has a retail network in Abkhazia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Filling station network includes 2622 of own and leased stations.
